February 3, 2015 – Faith & Society: Protesters and Law Enforcement
Season 7, Episode 5 – Series: Race Relations in America, Where Are We Now? (4 of 4)
On this installment of Friends Talking Faith with The Three Wise Guys — our final episode in a four-part series on Faith and “Race Relations in America, Where Are We Now?” — we’ll discuss faith, protests and law enforcement. While much of the news media have moved on to chase the latest story of the day, there is a lingering issue on the American horizon punctuated by protests in the fall of 2014 regarding fatalities of unarmed African American persons by law enforcement officers. We talk with a County Sheriff who happens to be African-American to get his take on the bigger picture issues that we face as a nation regarding race relations. We’ll also do some “good religion/bad religion” work on today’s program. Orange County Florida’s Sheriff Jerry Demings (pictured right) and more, on this episode Friends Talking Faith.
