Here’s a horrifying statistic: over 1,500 children die from it in the United States every year. On this episode of Friends Talking Faith with The Three Wise Guys we’ll discuss faith and the issue of child abuse. In this – the wealthiest and most powerful country in the world – a report regarding child abuse is made every 10 seconds – last year there were over 3 million reports of child abuse and neglect in the United States affecting over 6 million children. America has one of the worst records regarding child abuse of any industrialized nation in the world. April is child abuse prevention awareness month. We’ll be joined by a panel of child advocacy experts as we focus in on what’s happening in Florida and what each of us can do to help stop the child abuse plague in America.
