Reading, math, working memory, cognitive flexibility, self-control, and so much more – these are just some of the skills needed as children begin kindergarten. On this episode of Friends Talking Faith with The Three Wise Guys we discuss faith, education, and poverty as it relates to children. What does poverty have to do with education? And what does faith have to do with all of it? We’ll talk with an expert from the Economic Policy Institute, and her most recent findings regarding poverty and education as it relates to a child’s readiness to begin school. Dr. Emma García (pictured right) talks with us about children, poverty, and education on this installment of Friends Talking Faith.
