March 3, 2015 – Faith & Religion: Women Faith Leaders and Immigration
Season 7, Episode 9 – “Women: Life, Love, and Leadership” Series (1 of 4)
March is “National Women’s History Month” so, on this episode of Friends Talking Faith with The Three Wise Guys — our first of a four-part series entitled, “Women: Life, Love, and Leadership” — we’ll be joined by two extraordinary women Faith leaders. Together we’ll discuss faith, women religious leaders, and also the role of faith in the national immigration debate. It’s estimated that only about 12% of clergy in the United States are women. On this program we sit at the feet of two of our female colleagues to learn about religious leadership from the perspective of women. Then, we’ll talk together about the issue of immigration in the United States. Of course, we’ll discuss all of it from a faith perspective. Joining us are The Rev. Kathy Schmitz (right, above) and Sister Ann Kendrick (right, below) on this installment of Friends Talking Faith.
