It began less than a week ago, so on this installment of Friends Talking Faith with The Three Wise Guys we’ll discuss faith and the observance of Ramadan. It takes place every year during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is one of the five pillars of Islam. We’ll talk about the specific practices, activities, and central theological ideas regarding Ramadan. We’ll also look at what Ramadan shares in common with both the Jewish and the Christian faith communities, and ways in which it’s different.
