January 13, 2015 – Faith & Society: The Legal System
Season 7, Episode 2 – Series: Race Relations in America, Where Are We Now? (1 of 4)
In this new year we’ll begin with some difficult conversations as on this episode of Friends Talking Faith with The Three Wise Guys we begin a four-part series on faith and race relations in America. In this installment we ask the question, “where are we now?” in regard to the issue of race relations in the United States. Throughout this series we’ll talk to a lawyer who is also an African-American pastor, the police chief of a major metropolitan area, a professor who trains law enforcement in nonviolent principles, a County Sheriff, and today a sitting judge who is also an African-American clergy person. A conversation with Judge Wendell Griffen (pictured here) and our responses. That’s on this episode of Friends Talking Faith.
