November 13, 2018 – Faith & Justice: When the Innocent Go to Prison
with Mr. Seth Miller
Season 11, Episode 46
Innocent people are too routinely convicted in this country, and many spend decades in prison. On this episode of Friends Talking Faith with The Three Wise Guys we will discuss faith, wrongful incarceration, and our American justice system. More than 2000 wrongful convictions have been overturned in the past 23 years. By some estimates there could be 20,000 or more people currently serving wrongful convictions in the United States. We will talk today with the Executive Director of the Innocence Project Florida about the work they are doing to help free those who are innocent of crimes for which they were convicted. We will also talk about our own criminal justice system in America – you may be shocked to find out that there are people in positions of authority who are actually subverting the cause of justice. Our conversation with Mr. Seth Miller of the Innocence Project Florida and their work to overturn the wrongful convictions of innocent people – that’s coming up on this Friends Talking Faith.
