with Professor Jocelyn Williamson
Season 11, Episode 5
The percentage of Americans who say they believe in God stands currently at 89% – so, we’ll talk to one of the 11% who say they don’t believe. The percentage of Americans who say they believe in God has been dropping over the last decade. We’ll spend some time with a person who is a firm “non-believer” to find out more about this growing segment of American society. We’ll ask if there is any common ground that we can find together, but we’ll also look at places where some in the religious community have possibly created an even wider gap between believers and nonbelievers. Our guest today will help us sort some of this out. Prof. Jocelyn Williamson and our conversation about the tension between believers and nonbelievers – that’s coming up on this installment of Friends Talking Faith.
